the SUmmer youth entrepreneurship program

In collaboration with Neighborworks BRV & Millrace Kitchens of Woonsocket, RI, we are pleased to announce our Summer Youth Entrepreneurship Program, a hands-on, immersive experience designed to teach students how to launch, operate, and scale a real business—through the exciting lens of a gelato shop incubator.

Over the course of the program, students will transform from idea makers into business owners. They'll learn the fundamentals of entrepreneurship, including branding, marketing, budgeting, customer service, operations, and scaling strategies. The program combines classroom instruction with real-world application as students collaboratively run an actual gelato business, making key decisions, handling daily operations, and interacting with customers.

Each week, participants will rotate through different business roles—from production and pricing to marketing and management—giving them a 360-degree view of what it takes to be a successful entrepreneur. With mentorship from local business leaders and real profit-sharing incentives, students won’t just learn about business—they’ll live it.
